Rotary helps those with eye diseases see again
Avoidable Blindness Talks & Eye Screening
(Singapore, 8th December 2007) – This event called "Don't Turn a Blind Eye to Saving Vision" was made possible by the joint efforts of the Rotary Club of Singapore and RSVP Singapore, supported by the Rotary District 3310 Committee on Avoidable Blindness. A series of talks which were conducted in Mandarin, and eye screenings were conducted. The laudable objective is to inform seniors about what avoidable blindness is all about, and how best one can take care of one's eyes as you become older . |
